Overload, the new release from Deviant Robots (30 April 2021) is a slow, funky, bass-driven beat with more than a hint of darkness in the discordant guitars as a beautiful, melancholy female vocal soars over the top. The AudioTrip remix takes Overload into the clubs and the Bloodklaat drum and bass remix turns the bass up to the max. File with British artists Massive Attack, Portishead.
Deviant Robots Wild Oats gets a makeover fit for the uncertain times we live in. Bloodklaat detonates the old school original version leaving nothing except GRiM Barman’s rapid-fire delivery over sparse staccato snares, 808’s and crisp hip hop beats with heavy electro bass and dub influences. A police siren soundtracks an urban city in lockdown.
Brand new release from Deviant Robots is the Bloodklaat remix of Wild Oats, the sound of angry Manchester…
Secretive Manchester based House producer, Ferkko, who has worked with the likes of Sterling Void, Sophia May and Mickey Shiloh has just dropped another bomb with a massive remix of Deviant Robots Let Your Light Shine which is doing the numbers on Soundcloud. Ferkko keeps some of the female vocal, ups the tempo and augments it with a sprinkling of 90’s rave. Ferkko’s remix will hit the big streaming platforms in September.
